    4. Host review — host reviews applications and decides.
    5. Pre-engagement chat — optional Q&A with host. Confirm logistics, safety, travel, insurance.
    6. Participate — engage for agreed learning exposure (no mandatory hours unless host legally pays you).
    7. Complete & badge — hosts and participants leave reviews; participant may receive a badge or certificate if applicable.
    8. Optional: Redeem perks — follow partner instructions for perks.

  • 02 NONPROFITS / HOSTS ACCESS

    1. Create account and Be reviewed
    2. Enter sponsor code when choose plan.
    3. Fillout your Host Profile
    4. Create listing (learning objective, mentorship plan, flexible expectations, perks disclosure).
    5. Review applications and accept candidate(s).
    6. Coordinate logistics (safety, onboarding).
    7. Provide learning & mentorship — document milestones if appropriate.
    8. Complete review & optionally provide a short impact summary for sponsor reporting.

    3. Sponsor package agreed (number of nonprofits, perks, reporting, level).

Better Life Council is a for-profit technology platform that connects people looking for skills exposure and career re-entry opportunities with host organizations and corporate partners who want to provide learning-focused experiences and partner-sponsored perks. We’re a marketplace ,we do not employ, supervise, or direct participants.

No. We are explicitly a for-profit company. We do not solicit charitable donations and payments to the platform are not tax-deductible.

No. We are a facilitator and technology provider. Hosts and participants form all engagement agreements. Hosts are responsible for legal compliance.

No. We provide guidance, templates, and education content but not legal advice. If you need legal counsel (labor, tax, immigration), please consult a licensed attorney.

Anyone who wants skills exposure, mentorship, or short learning-focused experiences. You must be of legal age to participate and able to meet any host eligibility requirements (background checks, ID verification, etc.).

Participation is described as learning-focused engagement.

No. Participants do not receive wages from Better Life Council. Some hosts or partners may offer optional third-party perks (discounts, housing, equipment) ,these are promotional benefits and not wages.

General Host Inquiries

Better Life Council reserves the right to remove listings, suspend hosts, and refuse reinstatement for policy violations. Repeated or egregious violations can lead to platform termination.

Yes , for-profit hosts pay subscriptions fee. Nonprofits may receive sponsored access through corporate partners.

Yes. Hosts are solely responsible for compliance with labor, tax, safety, and immigration laws.

Roles that replace paid workers, require fixed hours or productivity tied to compensation, or may be construed as employment without pay. Also no listing that promises guaranteed employment in exchange for participation

Learning-focused opportunities: mentorship, observation, training modules, project exposure.

Nonprofits, social enterprises, healthcare organizations, eco villages, and educational organizations that want to provide learning-focused opportunities. Hosts must comply with applicable laws.
