1. Purpose and scope
1.1 This Disclaimer applies whenever a person views a public Participant profile or global timeline post, registers for an Activity, receives a recommendation, uses location-based search, sends a private message, joins a group discussion, uploads Content, supports or helps run an Activity, or otherwise interacts with an Activity, Nonprofit Provider, Support Organization, venue, volunteer, staff member or other third party through the Platform.
1.2 It supplements the Terms of Service and Organization and Nonprofit Provider Terms. By using the Platform or participating in an Activity, you acknowledge the matters described below.
1.3 Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Organize4Change is a technology platform
2.1 Organize4Change provides technology for discovery, listings, registration signals, communication and participation support. It is not the organizer, owner, operator, sponsor, employer, staffing agency, joint venturer, partner, agent, insurer or guarantor of a third-party Activity.
2.2 Unless Organize4Change expressly identifies itself as the provider of a specific Activity in writing, the applicable Nonprofit Provider is solely responsible for that Activity.
2.3 Organize4Change does not control the Provider’s personnel, volunteers, venue, transportation, equipment, methods, supervision, accessibility, emergency procedures, insurance, licensing or legal compliance.
2.4 A Platform listing, administrative review, automated check, recommendation, search result, invitation, registration status, badge or approval to publish does not mean that Organize4Change has verified, certified, accredited, licensed, background-checked, endorsed or guaranteed the Provider or Activity.
3. Information may change or be incomplete
3.1 Activity information is provided by the responsible third party and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, canceled or changed without prior notice.
3.2 Dates, capacity, location, transportation, eligibility, cost, staffing, accessibility, physical demands, emotional demands, supervision, equipment and safety conditions may differ from the listing.
3.3 Before relying on a listing, contact the Provider directly to confirm information that is important to your participation.
3.4 Organize4Change does not guarantee that a registration request, expression of interest, invitation or confirmation results in admission, attendance, completion or any particular outcome.
4. Independent decision and due diligence
4.1 You are responsible for deciding whether an Activity is appropriate for you or a person you support. Consider the person’s interests, abilities, support needs, transportation, accessibility, risks and any professional advice they choose to obtain.
4.2 You should review the Provider’s identity, experience, policies, safety practices, insurance, licenses, staff qualifications, background checks and reputation to the extent relevant.
4.3 If you are uncertain about a health, mobility, medication, behavioral-health or safety issue, consult an appropriate qualified professional and the Provider. Organize4Change cannot determine medical or clinical suitability.
4.4 A Support Organization, guardian or other person assisting a Participant remains responsible for its own assessment, permissions, transportation, supervision and legal duties.
5. No healthcare, clinical or professional advice
5.1 The Platform and Activities are not medical, behavioral-health, therapeutic, rehabilitation, social-work, legal, financial or other professional advice merely because participation may support routine, social connection or community engagement.
5.2 Organize4Change does not diagnose, treat, monitor or prevent any condition and does not promise recovery, symptom improvement, employment, independence, community integration or another health or life outcome.
5.3 Activity suggestions, participation history, messages and accessibility preferences are not treatment plans, clinical assessments or medical records.
5.4 The Platform is not an emergency or crisis service. For immediate danger, serious injury, medical emergency, suspected abuse or threat of self-harm, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency or safeguarding authority.
6. Participation risks
6.1 Activities may involve ordinary and unexpected risks, including travel, weather, crowds, unfamiliar locations, physical exertion, food, tools, animals, sports, volunteering, interaction with strangers, emotional stress, illness, communicable disease, property loss and conduct of other participants or third parties.
6.2 Some Activities may be unsuitable for a particular person or may require accommodations, supervision, protective equipment, training, waivers, medical clearance or other precautions.
6.3 The Provider is responsible for describing material known risks and implementing appropriate safeguards. Organize4Change does not inspect venues or independently evaluate risk controls.
6.4 To the extent permitted by law, participation in a third-party Activity is voluntary and at the Participant’s own risk, subject to the Provider’s non-waivable duties and any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
7. Accessibility and accommodations
7.1 Organize4Change does not currently collect accessibility or accommodation information as a structured Platform feature and does not guarantee that a Provider can meet a request or that a venue, transportation method or Activity is accessible.
7.2 The Provider is responsible for accurately describing accessibility, communicating limitations and complying with applicable disability and civil-rights laws.
7.3 Contact the Provider before attendance to confirm specific accommodations. Do not rely solely on icons, filters or general listing statements.
7.4 Communicate any necessary accommodation request directly to the Provider using an appropriate private method. Do not publish diagnoses, disability details or medical records in a public profile, timeline post, discussion, comment, review or upload.
8. Behavioral health, recovery and support settings
8.1 Some Participants may receive behavioral-health, recovery, group-home, supportive-living or community-support services. Platform use does not establish a clinical relationship with Organize4Change and does not transfer the duties of a provider, facility, guardian, case manager or support professional to Organize4Change.
8.2 Support Organizations remain responsible for lawful onboarding, informed choice, appropriate staffing, transportation, supervision, safeguarding and any professional or program obligations.
8.3 Nonprofit Providers must not exploit, stigmatize or discriminate against a person because of disability, behavioral-health status, recovery, housing or support needs.
8.4 Organize4Change does not guarantee that an Activity will be trauma-informed, clinically suitable, recovery-oriented or staffed by persons trained in behavioral health unless the responsible Provider separately and accurately states this.
9. Minors
9.1 The Platform is intended for adult Account holders. A minor may participate only in an Activity that expressly allows minors and only under the registration, permission, supervision and responsibility of a parent, guardian, school or authorized Organization.
9.2 The Provider is solely responsible for age screening, parental or guardian consent, child-safety policies, staff and volunteer screening, supervision, transportation, photography permissions and compliance with law.
9.3 Organize4Change does not provide childcare and does not guarantee that a Provider, venue or Activity is suitable for minors.
10. Transportation, venues, property and payments
10.1 Organize4Change does not provide, arrange, inspect, supervise or insure transportation unless expressly stated. Drivers, vehicles, routes and transportation permissions are controlled by the responsible third party.
10.2 Organize4Change is not responsible for the condition, accessibility or security of a venue, equipment or personal property.
10.3 The Platform does not facilitate private financial transactions between Participants and Providers. Any fee, donation, refund or purchase connected with a third-party Activity is governed by the Provider’s terms and applicable law unless Organize4Change expressly processes the transaction as its own service.
10.4 Do not send cash, gift cards, banking credentials or payment-card information to another user through Platform communications.
11. User communications and relationships
11.1 Organize4Change offers private messaging, group discussions, comments, reviews and public profile or timeline features, but does not guarantee the identity, intentions, qualifications or conduct of any user.
11.2 Public profiles and timeline Content may be visible broadly. Email addresses are not public but may be visible to approved Organizations with authorized access. Use caution before meeting, sharing information or relying on another user’s statements.
11.3 An associated Organization may view a Participant’s profile and email address but does not control the Participant’s Account, edit the profile, view Activity history, deactivate the Account or delete it.
11.4 Organize4Change does not become responsible for a friendship, volunteer relationship, professional relationship, dispute or transaction merely because users first connected through the Platform.
11.5 We may moderate communications, but we do not promise to review every message or prevent every harmful interaction.
12. Cancellations, changes and disputes
12.1 The Provider may cancel, reschedule, relocate or modify an Activity. Organize4Change is not responsible for travel costs, lost time, missed opportunities, replacement services or other losses caused by a third-party change.
12.2 Questions about admission, Activity performance, safety, conduct, refunds, fees, property or injury should first be directed to the responsible Provider.
12.3 Organize4Change may help transmit information or review a Policy report but is not required to mediate, adjudicate or resolve a dispute between a Participant and a Provider.
12.4 A report to Organize4Change does not replace an insurance claim, police report, mandated report, regulatory complaint, medical evaluation or legal notice that may be required.
13. Third-party websites and services
13.1 Activity listings may link to a Provider, venue, registration page, payment service, map, social network or other third-party service. Their terms, privacy policies and security practices apply independently.
13.2 Organize4Change does not control, endorse or guarantee an external website or service merely because it is linked from the Platform.
13.3 Review the third party’s information before submitting personal or payment information.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
14.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORGANIZE4CHANGE MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT ANY THIRD-PARTY ORGANIZATION, PERSON, ACTIVITY, LISTING, VENUE, TRANSPORTATION, COMMUNICATION OR SERVICE IS SAFE, ACCURATE, LAWFUL, AVAILABLE, ACCESSIBLE, SUITABLE, QUALIFIED, INSURED, BENEFICIAL OR FREE FROM HARM.
14.2 ORGANIZE4CHANGE DOES NOT WARRANT PARTICIPATION, ATTENDANCE, SUPERVISION, COMPLETION, SATISFACTION OR ANY HEALTH, RECOVERY, SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL, EMPLOYMENT OR COMMUNITY OUTCOME.
14.3 THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED SUBJECT TO THE DISCLAIMERS AND NON-WAIVABLE RIGHTS IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE.
15. Limitation of Organize4Change liability
15.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Organize4Change is not liable for the acts or omissions of a Nonprofit Provider, Support Organization, venue, driver, volunteer, employee, participant or other third party.
15.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Organize4Change is not liable for cancellation, scheduling, inaccurate information, exclusion, discrimination, abuse, supervision, accessibility, transportation, infection, emotional distress, injury, illness, death, property loss or damage arising from a third-party Activity.
15.3 The liability exclusions and caps in the Terms of Service apply to this Disclaimer. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
16. Provider responsibility and indemnity
16.1 The responsible Provider bears responsibility for its Activity, listing, personnel, volunteers, participants, venue, transportation, safety, accessibility, insurance and legal compliance.
16.2 Provider indemnity obligations are stated in the Organization and Nonprofit Provider Terms and the Terms of Service.
16.3 This allocation does not give a Participant fewer rights against a Provider than applicable law permits.
17. Reports and questions
17.1 Report a suspected unsafe listing, exploitation, harassment, impersonation, privacy issue or Policy violation to support@organize4change.com and identify the relevant Activity or Account.
17.2 For immediate danger or urgent medical or safeguarding concerns, contact 911 or the appropriate local authority first.
17.3 Organize4Change may preserve information, restrict a listing, suspend access or contact relevant parties, but it does not guarantee a particular investigation or outcome.
18. Changes
18.1 We may update this Disclaimer for legal, safety, operational or product reasons. The revised version will identify the effective date and material changes will be notified where appropriate.
